South African church leaders, activists, students, and homeless people joined in pickets, Tuesday 16 October, for the Trade Week of Action. Calling for access to food for all, they presented a petition to an official from the Ministry of Social Development and explained their actions and demands on national television and radio stations. The events were organized by the Economic Justice Network of FOCCISA.
