Food and Justice

This is a library of documents on issues of food and justice divided into 8 sections. Below that are the names and contact details of the activists of the South African and the Western Cape Right to Food Campaigns:

The Basics: Documents which describe the basic issues of Food Security and Food Sovereignty

Agriculture: Material on some of the key agricultural challenges, including Biofuel Production, GMOs and Terminator Seeds

Churches: Statements and activities from a variety of churches and Christian groups and individuals

HIV/AIDS: materials which explain the links between Food Security, Agricultural Systems and HIV/AIDS

Positions and Analyses: analytical documents and political positions on Food Sovereignty , the dangers of biofuels and terminator seeds and the threats to food scurity and sovereignty in Africa

Right to Food: Documents explaining the Right to Food from a variety of perspectives

SADC Region: Food Security reports (both summary documents and full, detailed reports ) on SADC member countries and the region, as well as general documents on Food and Justice in the region.

Women: documents whose focus is the gender aspect of food issues
