EJN, along with other civil society organizations that campaign for poverty reduction efforts, is trying to provide an alternative to unfair trade arrangements. In 2008 EJN undertook it's first research project on informal trade. This report focused on four countries in the SADC region including; Malawi, Mozambique, Swaziland and Zambia. The objective of the research was to come up with a set of tools and policy recommendations which will make cross boarder trading simpler for traders. Click here for the research paper.
