In a research report presented on the 27th of September (international "Stop EPAs Day") the ICCO states that the EU has proven to be an unreliable negotiation partner for the ACP countries in the EPA negotiation process. Although the European Union presents itself to be a partner in the negotiation process, and states that free trade agreements are instruments in development aid, and commercial interests are of secondary importance, this does not seem to be the case.
