The human right to food in Malawi

An international report was coordinated by Rights & Democracy and FIAN International and it highlights the problems of exercising the right to food in Malawi. The paper gives recommendations as to how civil society, government and donors can overcome these challenges. While the reports acknowledges that the state has to respond to a significant amount of international pressures, the paper reminds the state that it should remember its primary responsibility is the citizens and their rights; including food.
