At the time of the update (2007) Tanzania was found to be generally food secure. While food security was expected to improve, the worst case-scenario was that of having the rains stop sooner than expected and hence causing certain areas to perform below average. This outlook gives a neat account of the current (2007), most-likely and worst-case food security situations.
